Do you know what 1-year-old birthdays mean? Cake. And smashing cakes! Ejypt’s cake smash was even more special!

Fun facts!

We met up at the Chatom Community Center which possesses a beautiful lake, tall trees, and green grass! There is a trail that is great for walks and for jogging too! It’s a very nice place to have weddings or even have a nice picnic!

And that, my friends, brings us to her 1-year smash the cake photos.

Ejypt is a Rainbow Baby! Rainbow babies are children born after a loss such as a miscarriage or a stillbirth. Ejypt is already hitting those milestones at a steady pace! She is able to crawl, sit unassisted, pull herself up, and stand! Her mother describes her as a happy baby!

She loves Paw Patrol and Baby Shark. Her mother’s wish for her as she grows, is for her to continue being happy.

As you can see, her parents have a lot to be proud of.

Speaking of parents, the children’s mother, Shea Sims did a really wonderful job choosing outfits and props for our session! We planned on three outfit changes, and we both loved the idea of not using too many props! It really paid off that we did it that way. “I would like to have a sunflower session to match her birthday party theme,” she said. I second that info!

Okay, moving on to what you’ve been waiting for. For your viewing pleasure, pictures of baby Ejypt’s cake smash!

As you can see, Ejypt thoroughly enjoyed her cake smash session. ( I know I’d have fun playing in fruit and cake!) Would you believe it if I told you that she didn’t complain even once about having her outfits changed?!

It was such a pleasure to work with the Sims family! I was beyond excited to meet with them and the experience was a wonderful one! As a black woman, I’ve been beyond excited to have more black families and representation in my portfolio!

My ultimate goal is to possess a very diverse portfolio and be as inclusive as I possibly can because representation matters so much!

I seriously cannot wait to do more cake smash sessions with other amazing families!
